“ My
finished work should reflect the personality, lifestyle and personal taste
of my client.
“I
have been involved in three designer homes in the Hot Springs area and enjoy
working with and learning from other designers. I know First Step is a great
cause and worth my time and energy. When I was asked to participant, I
thought it was a good way to give back to my community.
“ I
find a lot of my inspiration from getting to know the life style of my
clients. Going to market, and my daily involvement with fabrics and styles
keep me current. My favorite styles are traditional, and I love color,
texture and metals.
“The
foyer and wine room must join well with the rest of the home. With the help
of local artists, I have created a warm and inviting entry into the home.
“One
area to spotlight is the door to the wine room. This door was designed and
crafted by a very gifted local metal artist, Richard Trammell. Alison
Parsons’ and Robin Bishop’s art brought color and interest to the area.”
